This is a company that really has your back if something goes wrong. We had originally had a Kenmore product installed which failed after the first day. When Sears started giving us and them the run around they took care of everything and even worked overtime to remove the faulty unit and replace it with another product. Everyone from the office staff (Jessie) to the delivery person to the installer/techs were totally professional and very congenial. Haven't had the A.O. Smith in place long enough to judge it, but I do know that we will call on JED Mechanical again and again when we need contractors...and we will recommend them to everyone we know. They are the total package! Thanks to everyone who went way beyond to make sure that our hot water would be working by tonight. Hardware failures can happen...but it is important to work with total professionals who have your back!

Jeb Mech. Is possibly the most professional, knowledgeable, polite, contractors I’ve ever worked with. I had an emergency situation and after several turn downs from others, Jeb Mech. said they would be at my house in an hour to help me out. These folks are true to their word, the crew arrived at my home within the hour and had all they needed to complete the job with them. The crew obviously knew what they were doing and had the job complete in about an hour and a half. They left my home clean and the work are was cleaner then when they started. I highly recommend Jed Mech. for any and all your plumbing needs. I’m a customer for life.

We added a new gas line for a fireplace and absolutely love it! Nice to have pros who know what they are doing! We'll be toasty for the holidays thanks to the JED folks.

The install went very smoothly. A phone call to inform the homeowner that the work crew would be four hours delayed would have been nice. Very little post-install repair work (drywall opening for duct install), thank you. Compact install was very nicely done.

Did a good job and noticed an issue with the gas line to our generator which may be problematic in the future. Appreciated the observation and will call back to repair the gas line. Would recommend to a friend.

Well done start to finish

A tough situation as water to the building needed to be shut down affecting other residents. Our shut off valve didn't work and we were packing to move to Atlanta. These guys worked tirelessly with many setbacks and got the job completed! Super committment and dedication to the project.

My install was a slightly complicated conversion from an oil fired unit to a propane fired unit. So in addition to the physical unit swap and plumbing, an indoor gas line also had to be run from an existing indoor manifold. All went well.

We were kept advised of all details and any steps required prior/after the install. We will recommend the system and contractor to our friends. Thanks for a great job start to end!

Everything went well-- and it took only about 10 days from initial conversation to a completed job- that's very good. As far as the product and installation it couldn't have been any better-- on the downside -- I was a little dismayed that annual servicing could cost about $175 -- but well maintained equipment is important - and cost effective in the long run -- so I can deal with it.

Never a good time to NEED a water heater. Nice to know there are folks who specialize in prompt service and great workmanship. I'd recommend JED to anyone needing plumbing service. Especially a new water heater!

The Rinnai is a great investment. It's been in for a few months and I don't run out of hot water anymore. Better performance AND saving money by not keeping 75 gallons of water hot 24/7 is one of the best decisions we've made. The Jed guys were great to work with and very good at what they do.

This Kenmore water heater was a better deal and larger tank than others I priced. Longer tank warranty too. The installers were great and got me up and running exactly like they said they would. A great company to deal with and I'll recommend Jed at my church.

I have and will continue to recommend JED Mechanical to my friends and neighbors. I have had many experiences with contractors as I have had extensive renovations performed on my older home. This is the first time I have used JED Mechanical and I am sorry that I didn't know about them sooner!!! Mr. Terry Ruch came out and gave me an estimate, I found him to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. The gentlemen that came out and performed the installation were courteous and efficient, and the receptionist/scheduler was extremely professional and helpful. At all times everyone at JED Mechanical treated me as a valued customer and attempted to address my needs in a way that accommodated my schedule. I must say that most contractors I have dealt with over the years have not treated me in this manner. If at any time in the future I am in need of any plumbing work JED Mechanical will be the first number I call.

Great customer service - quick response

When I spoke with Jeff at Jed Mechanical, he was able to troubleshoot my problem over the phone (corrosion of the cold water pipe going into the water heater) The plumber Roger (who actually came out to the house) was also very knowledgable and incredibly quick and efficent. He took the time to replace the pipe, check our water pressure and flush the water heater to make sure that sediment hadn't built up inside as the home had been foreclosed and ignored for some time. I would absolutely work with Jed Mechanical again and would recommend them to friends if they are in need of plumbing work!
